w/ Sam Zalta (Bambara’s) / Warm Tape / Dominique Diglio / Holiday Video Star

Sam Zalta from Bambara’s solo tour visits the Crown May 3rd for a night of deep feeling in the ambient / folk + experimental realms. Joined by Warm Tape, Dominique Diglio, and Holiday Video Star.

Sam Zalta (Bambara’s)

Since 2016, Zalta has played guitar and keyboards for Bambara in their live configuration, touring the world with the Brooklyn-via-Atlanta rising outfit. Zalta has been writing and recording since his teens under different aliases, and performing live scarcely in and around New York. Now he’s ready to go public and make a mark with his own sound.

Warm Tape

Warm Tape is the ambient/drone project of Raymond Chalmé. Through the use of sustained passages, field recordings, negative space and supplementary materials, Warm Tape attempts to create an experience rooted in memory and emotional recall.

Dominique Diglio

Having previously recorded with her band Holy Gifts, Diglio’s first album under her own name is a collection of meditative yet raw musical offerings—equally inspired by freak folk, Arthur Russell, and world spiritual music. Songs for Tāra is an enticing act of musical surrender.
