Ellis Jones has played music as Trust Fund since 2012 – with recordings ranging from lo-fi bedroom pop to full-band indie rock. His songs have been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and The Guardian, and endorsed via two placings on Frank Ocean’s Blonded Radio. Trust Fund have played extensively in the UK and EU, including tours supporting Mitski, Speedy Ortiz, Frankie Cosmos and Los Campesinos!. After an extended break between 2017 and 2022, Ellis recently released the singles ‘capital’, ‘late nite skate’, and ‘animals in war’ – these quiet, introspective indie-folk songs have been playlisted by NPR, Merge, New York Times, and others. Trust Fund will be playing as a two-piece on their first ever US tour.
